The Company

PrimeSlots is an international and multilingual gaming website offering a wide range of video slots and instant win games. The website was launched in 2011, one of the first in the world to bring the famous Slot Machine to the Internet.

Players must be 18 or older, since the games are for money, just like in brick-and-mortar casinos. The PrimeSlots site is a multilingual one, having three sections in English (dedicated for UK, Australia and Canada), a German section and three more for Scandinavian languages. eTraffic handles all the different sections of the site.

Anecdote Time

The Slot Machine was invented in 1895 by a car mechanic named Charles Fey of San Fransisco, hence its original mechanical form. Fey, in a patriotic act, named it Liberty Bell. The three turning wheels were adorned with diamond, spade and heart symbols, and a cracked Liberty Bell; hence the name.

Lining the three Liberty Bells brought on the grand prize of fifty cents, not a sum taken likely in those days; average daily wage was $1.64. The original Liberty Bell Slot Machine is on display at the Nevada State Museum.
